I’m still busy working through my pile of stuff I have on my desk so I can buy new release stuff. Next on my list is the Create a Smile All Hands On Deck Stamp. This set is so cute and creative! I would have never thought to make pirate koalas!! I just had to use all the koala images!!
For this card, I cut the box card base from a piece of kraft cardstock then stamped both front and back of the panel with MFT’s Wood Plank Background Stamp. I used Lawn Fawn’s Walnut ink. For the decorative panels, I stamped the dotted line, star stamp from Simon Says Stamp’s Be Joyful stamp set continuously in Versamark Ink to make myself a patterned background. Then I used a piece of paper from MFT’s Birthday Blowout Paper Pack for the decorative panels on the bottom. Then I proceeded to assemble the rest of my card base. If you’re unfamiliar with how to make a box card base, please refer to my post here or watch my Youtube video below.
Next I stamped, cut, and coloured all of my images with Copic Markers and adhered them into my card base with a combination of Zig Two Way Glue Pen , Ranger Multi Medium Matte, and Scotch tape. I wanted to give the gold coins and the telescope a bit of sparkle so I used my Clear Wink Of Stella instead of my usual Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Brush Pen because the Wink of Stella has more of a champagne shimmer.
I finished up my card by heat embossing my sentiment, “All hands on deck!” with Wow Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder on black card stock and adhered it to my front panel.

This card was also entered in Simon Says Stamps Monday challenge.
