MFT Jungle Friends Thank You Card

I’m really trying to work through the stack of stamps/dies on my desk that I haven’t used yet. MFT’s Jungle Friends Stamp and Die-namics are retired and I’ve had them in my, “to-use” pile and sitting on my desk FOREVER!

The stamp set contains just sentiments and they coordinate with animal dies that you paper piece together. The elephant dies are my favourite in this set so I had to use them for this card.

This is what I came up with:

I cut out a white cardstock panel with MFT’s Wonky Stitched Rectangles and did some simple ink blending using Distress Inks Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters.

I die cut the elephants and grasses. Originally, I had cut all three grasses cut out of different shades of green but I decided to use dark green for the largest grasses and a medium shade of green for the smallest grasses. I glued the largest grasses straight to the card, I popped the elephants, elephants’ ears and the small grasses on one layer of foam adhesive.

I used the sentiment, “Thanks A Ton”, and heat embossed it in Recollections Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.

I don’t know what day of the challenge they’re on but I have also uploaded to the 30 Day Colouring Challenge that you can find here as well as, Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge here.

Thanks for stopping by!!
