Day 3- 30 Day Coloring Challenge: Mama Elephant The Bunny’s Hop Shaker Card

I’m a little late this time around with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. It’s already day 5 of the challenge and I’m posting about day 3….I had time to make the card, just not enough time to write a blog post.

I acquired Mama Elephant’s The Bunny’s Hop stamp set back in April and am just getting around to making a quick and simple shaker card with it. The coordinating dies come with an an awesome extra scripty die that says, “Happy Easter” that would be great for Easter cards but since that time has past, I opted to use the Hello Friend Script die to make it a generic card instead.

I stamped out the Bunny Hop stamp using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I decided I wanted the bunnies to be in shades of brown so I used the following Copic Colours: W7, W5, E59, E57, E37, E35, E33, E31, E49, E47, E43, E41, YG17, YG11, R17, R14, R22, R20, YR07, YR16, YR02, Y08, and Y06.

I wanted a really subtle background so I stamped MFT’s Mini Hexagon Background in Mama Elephant Moonlight Ink on white cardstock. For my frame, I used the largest rectangle from MFT’s Single Stitched Line Rectangle Frame dies.

I adhered a piece of acetate to create my window and built my shaker with two layers of 3M foam tape. I used a variety of sequins, confetti, and chunky glitter to fill my shaker card. Some of chunky glitter and confetti were Recollections (from Micheals) and the others weren’t from any notable brands off Amazon and from Asia.

That’s all from me for now! If you want to check out the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, you can find details here.

This card was also entered into Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge found here.
