Today I’m back with another custom card request from my Etsy shop! My client wanted a dinosaur anniversary card. He requested that it be pink and without glitter.
This is what I came up with:
If you’re unfamiliar with box cards, you can check out my Youtube tutorial below:
For my decorative panels, I grabbed some light blue card stock and added the stitch wind details with Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Windy Backdrop and used patterned paper from Doodlebug’s Here Comes Santa Claus 6″x6″ Paper Pad. So, funny story, I grabbed the patterned paper from a pile of scrap patterned paper and didn’t really take a good look at it. After I finished the card, I realized that the white heart says, “Dear Santa…”. I just really liked the hearts and colour scheme.
This card has 3 slats to start.

I only really have 2 dinosaur stamp sets: MFT You’re Rawr-some and MFT Prehistoric Fun, so it was easy to decide what to use!
The stamp sets are awesome because they include scene building elements like the large tree and grass. I opted to cut grass instead with MFT’s Tall Grassy Edge Die-namics.
I’ll list all my stamp and die sets I used for this card:
-MFT You’re Rawr-some Stamp and coordinating die: T-rex, Triceratops, Trees, back sentiment
-MFT Prehistoric Fun Stamp: Front sentiment
-MFT Mini Modern Blooms: flowers
-MFT Scenic Safari Dies: landscape
-MFT Basic Stitch Lines Dies: On the sentiment panel
-Lawn Fawn Stitched Windy Backdrop: decorative panels
I used the following Copic markers:
-T-Rex: YG06, YG11, C3, C1, G05
-Triceratops: Y02, Y06, Y08, C2, C0
-Trees: E37, E33, YG63, YG67, G29, G05
The flowers were stamped with Hero Arts Royal Red and Lawn Fawn Bubblegum and Chili Pepper Ink.
