I’m kind of obsessed with Distress Oxide ink, ink blending, and in particular, different Christmas colour schemes and colour palettes. I’m going to me making a set of these kinds of cards with different colours of stripes and Mama Elephant Little Agenda stamps. Here’s the first one.
I stamped and fussy cut out 2 little reindeer from Mama Elephant’s Little Reindeer Agenda Stamp Set. I used Copic Colours E33, E31, E41, E43, R17, R14, R29, YG06, B05, YR02, Y08, and Y06.
I die cut the stitched rectangle from Mama Elephant’s Peek A Frame Die set then ink blended stripes on my card front with Distress Oxide Inks: Aged Mahogany, Candied Apple, Fossilized Amber, Walnut Stain, Evergreen Bough, Cracked Pistachio, and Abandoned Coral.
I used Mama Elephant’s Basic Borders, Boutique Borders, and Lawn Fawn’s Teeny Tiny Backdrops to stamp designs within my stripes. I used Distress Oxide Walnut Stain to stamp the stars and Aged Mahogany to stamp the thin stripes. The thick stripes and small dots were heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum.
The “Merry” Script was die cut twice out 110lb black card stock and once out of a gold glitter card stock and adhered together to create dimension. The rest of the sentiment, “and BRIGHT”, was heat embossed with WOW Opaque Bright White Embossing powder using the Mama Elephant stamp set Jolly and Merry. The fish tail banner was free hand cut.
I glued the sentiment to the card front with my Zig Two Way Glue Pen then adhered the reindeer on with some 3M foam tape for a bit of added dimension.
This is Day 7 of the 30 Day Coloring challenge. You can check out details
