So I think my favourite stamp releases this year are the new additions to Mama Elephant’s Little Agenda Line. They’ve added so many cute stamps like bunnies, monkeys, snowmen, elves, and trains. In addition to the cats, dogs, little boy and girl, reindeer, and stanta stamps they released in the previous year, they all go together quite well. They’re also a great size to be included in my box pop up cards. Mama Elephant, if you’re reading this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a Little Penguin Agenda Set for next year!!!!
I said in the previous post that I was on a roll with ink blending. Distress Oxide inks are so nice and they blend like butter.
Using Mama Elephant’s Little Bunny Agenda Stamp Set, I stamped and die cut the bunny holding a bottle of wine and the bunny with the bow tie and glasses. I figured that they looked the most festive!
I coloured them with Copics: C1, R20, R29, B000, Y06, T7, T5, T3, Y28, YR23. I also brushed some Wink of Stella on the glasses and filled them with Glossy Accents.
I cut the card front out using the large stitched rectangle from Mama Elephants Peek A Boo Frame Die set. Then I ink blended stripes with Distress Oxide inks Aged Mahogany, Candied Apple, Fossilized Amber, Walnut Stain, Gathered Twigs, Scattered Straw (Regular Distress Ink), and Fired Brick. I haven’t collected all the Distress Oxide ink colours yet but I’m slowly building my collection.
I stamped designs in my stripes with Mama Elephant’s Basic Borders and Lawn Fawn’s Teeny Tiny Backdrops Stamp sets. The hearts and tiny dots were heat embossed with Tonic Classic Gold Embossing Powder. I bought this embossing powder on a whim because I saw it on sale and I didn’t own any Tonic Embossing Powders yet so I wanted to try it. I really love it! I find they melt more quickly and evenly than some of my other embossing powders. I will have to definitely buy more in the future. Anyways, for the thin diagonal stripes I heat embossed Lawn Fawn White embossing Powder. I also used Versamark as the watermark ink that it is and stamped over my Walnut stain stripe to get some subtle stripes.
I die cut Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Happy Die 3 times- twice out of a white 110lb card stock and once out of a warm gold glitter cardstock and adhered them together. I stamped, “holidays”, from Lawn Fawn’s Toboggan Together Stamp set in Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper Ink and fussy cut out the scripty font. Then I adhered to my card with my Zig Two Way Glue Pen.
The bunnies were popped in up onto my card with some 3M foam tape.
This is Day 13 of the 30 Day Coloring challenge. You can check out details
I also entered this card into Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge here.
