Clearly Besotted Panda Planner Wedding Card

Hey Everybody,

Lately I’ve been obsessed with Distress Oxide inks and decided to fulfil a custom card request from my Etsy shop with a lot of ink blending.

I’ve had Distress Oxide inks since they first came out. I bought the initial set of 12 off the bat and have bought several more since. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! They are the most amazing ink formulation. If you haven’t used them yet, I encourage you to give them a try. They honestly blend with very little effort.

I ink blended random widths of stripes across my card front using Distress Oxide Inks: Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China ,and Wilted Violet.

What’s awesome about Distress Oxide inks is that you can stamp overtop coloured or dark paper. I used Mama Elephant’s Boutique Borders and stamped overtop the stripes with Cracked Pistachio, Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet, Broken China, and Squeezed Lemonade.

I used the stitched rectangle from Mama Elephant’s Peek A Frame Die Set to add stitching to my card front.

I die cut Mama Elephant’s happy Script Die 3 times- twice out of black 110lbs card stock and once out of a gold glitter card stock and adhered them together stacked on top of each other.

I used the Clearly Besotted Panda Planner Stamp set and stamped and cut out the 2 pandas from the set that look like they could be a bride and groom. From the same stamp set I stamped the word, “Wedding”, in Versafine and heat embossed with WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder.

I adhered the happy script onto my card with my Zig Two Way Glue Pen and then mounted the pandas and wedding word onto the card with 3M foam tape.

This card was entered into Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge here.

This is also Day 5 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. You can check out details here.

Thanks for stopping by!
