Mama Elephant Party Animals Box Pop Up Card

Hey Everybody!

I had a request to make a birthday card from a friend for a friend’s daughter’s birthday! Today I have a Mama Elephant box pop up card that I wanted to share featuring Mama Elephant’s Party Animals Stamp set.

If you’re unfamiliar with box cards, you can check out my box card base tutorial below:

There was 4 slats in my box to start and I used patterned paper from Recollections Rainbow Everything Paper Pad for my decorative panels.

I stamped and cut out images from Mama Elephant’s Party Animals, Birthday Monkeys, Little Chicken Agenda, and Merry Mantle with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. I used the following Copic Markers to colour my images: Y08, Y06, Y11, YR02, R29, R27, R17, R20, C1, YG17, YG11, B05, B02, B00, BG75, BG72, BG10, BV04, and BV02.

I die cut grass borders using Mama Elephant’s Grassy Trio and a cloud border from Mama Elephant’s Landscape Trio.

I adhered my borders onto card stock tabs and onto the slats. I adhered my images directly onto the borders with my Zig Two Way Glue Pen or onto strips of acetate and onto the slat.

I brushed Clear Wink of Stella onto the star banner and all the party hats.

I die cut letters from MFT’s LLD Stitched Alphabet to spell out the little girl’s name- Mila, and I adhered them to the front flap. The gold card stock I used was from Recollections Signature Metallic paper pad.

For the sentiment, I stamped, “Yay! Yay! Yay! It’s your birthday!” from MFT’s Birthday Chicks Stamp set and was heat embossed with WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder.

That finishes up my card, hope you guys like it!

This card was entered into Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge and Wednesday Challenge .
