Day 2- 30 Day Coloring Challenge: Paper Smooches Bee Valentine’s Day Card

I’m still working through my pile of stuff that I haven’t used yet, so today for day 2 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, I have another normal card. So this card is all paper piecing using Birch Press Honeybee Layer Dies and Paper Smooches Bees Wise Dies. These are the only products I own from these two companies and they fit together so well!! Here’s what I came up with.

I cut the Birch Press dies out of light yellow, dark yellow and orange card stock and adhered the different layers with score tape and Zig two way glue pen. I paper pieced together the bees and adhered the pieces together with Scotch tape and popped them up on my card front with dimensional foam adhesive.

I finished off the card with Red Stickles on the heart and brushing the wings with my Spectrum Noir Sparkling Clear Overlay Brush Pen.

I guess I didn’t really colour anything on this card but I did fill in the heart with the red stickles, does it still count on this challenge? lol ^_^

Day 1- 30 Day Coloring Challenge: Mama Elephant Splendid Wedding Card

I actually just got back from my vacation. Prior to leaving, I received all my Black Friday orders. They take a while to get to me because I’m in Canada. I left them on my desk, then Christmas happened and then I promptly left the country, so I didn’t really get to clean up. I came back to my crafty chaos and decided to film a December haul while I was cleaning up my desk, as well as Asia Crafty/Stationary Haul while I was trying to unpack. I’m slow to edit so you can look forward to those within the next couple weeks.

I opened up my Instagram yesterday, I saw the 30 Day Coloring Challenge was back and had to get the ball rolling on crafting again.

Once in a while, I like to make normal cards. I also have a pile of stamps that I bought and still haven’t used so here’s a simple ink blended wedding card.

I stamped the large sentiment, “Hooray its your special day”, from Mama Elephant’s Splendid stamp set, in WOW Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder. I just noticed that they’re missing the apostrophe in “its”.

I ink blended the panel with Distress Inks Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed and sprayed the panel with water. I used the stitched rectangle die from Mama Elephant’s Basic Die Set and for the outer dot border I used the die from Pizazz Pieces.

I adhered a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Mix Sequins to the front and called it a day.
